Guy Fieri, host of Food Network’s “Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives” stopped by the Port City in January to film at Fork ’N Cork, Copper Penny, Something Fishy, Sweet ’n Savory, Ceviche’s, and the Cast Iron Kitchen. The air dates for several of these featured restaurants have been announced!
Season 28 Episode 7 titled “Lights Out Latin” will air on Friday, March 30th at 9pm. The episode will showcase restaurants focusing on Latin specialties including Ceviche’s, “a funky joint cooking up the flavors of Panama” as well as restaurants in Miami, Tuscon and Arizona.
Season 28 Episode 8 titled “Pizza, Pork and Peru” will air on Friday, April 6th at 9pm. The episode will likely feature Copper Penny’s “standout sandwiches which bring a taste of Philly to the South,” as well as a pizza joint in Lansing, Michigan, and a Tuscon restaurant offering Peruvian specialties.
Season 28 Episode 9 titled “Seafood and Savory” will air on Friday, April 27th at 9pm. In this episode, Fieri likely travels to Something Fishy, a “down-home Southern seafood spot cooking up clam chowder and frying up favorites.”
It is unclear when the other three Wilmington restaurants (Sweet ’n Savory, Cast Iron Kitchen, and Fork n Cork) will be featured on the show.
