STATE REQUIREMENTS:

Must be 18 Years of age
Must have a high school diploma or equivalent
Must have a social security number to sit for the state exam
Upon application for state exam, a FBI fingerprint card will be processed and references will be checked.

REAL ESTATE CAREER LICENSING PROCESS:
There are several Real Estate Pre-Licensing courses available locally. Day or evening classes.

The Salesperson exam consists of Real Estate Law, Real Estate Principals and Practices and The State exam is given locally.

Exams are graded at the site immediately upon completion. A Salesperson may engage in Real Estate services after passing the exam and activating the license through a broker. We, of course, recommend CENTURY 21 Sweyer & Associates . The actual license will arrive by mail.

STEPS OF LICENSING:
Take Real Estate Pre-License Law Course.

Make application to take the State Exam. There is normally a 2-4 week waiting period between application and notification of your test date.

Take State Exam. You must pass the State Exam with a score of 75 or more.

Receive notification of passing score at the time you take the exam.
