I like to share the agent's successes and think that I have a small part in that. I am employed by our agents, so I am there to support, energize and celebrate them.

It was an instant curiosity from the first time I met the Sweyers . I knew we had the same core values and couldn't wait to learn more about them . Why do you love being a sales manager & what is your role in making agents successful?
Surrounding the agents with a positive environment, making available the tools they need to be successful, and coaching them to help them reach their goals gives our agents that extra shot of enthusiasm! When agents are successful, they continue to thrive as it creates such a synergy! That's what I love! Who hates going to work? I sure don't! With an office full of support and great leadership, our agents can't help but be successful!
What makes your office unique?
The Jacksonville office has deep military roots as well as deep Onslow County roots. We have been helping our military with their housing needs from Camp LeJeune to New River Air Station for over 20 years now. Most of our agents have military connections. We know the frustrations that come with moving to a new duty station. We are sensitive to those needs and try very hard to help make that transition a smooth one. This common bond helps make us a very strong team working together for our community and our military.
What do you think makes an agent successful?
Hard work, determination, the desire to achieve their personal best, and a support staff to stand behind them every step of the way, is my recipe for a successful real estate agent! With those ingredients, failure is not an option!

Dave is co-owner of CENTURY 21 Sweyer & Associates along with his brother Jeff Sweyer. CENTURY 21 Sweyer & Associates is the largest CENTURY 21® franchise in North Carolina, and one of the leading residential real estate brokerages in Southeastern North Carolina. CENTURY 21 Sweyer & Associates has offices in Wilmington, Monkey Junction, Hampstead, and Jacksonville. They are also the principle broker for CARTUS Mobility.
Dave started in Community Association Management in 1999 when he founded CENTURY 21 Sweyer Property Management. In 2003, Dave merged his company with CAMS, and today Mike Stonestreet and Dave are co-owners of CAMS, one of the leading professional association management companies in the Southeast.
Dave also owns and manages CENTURY 21 Sweyer Rentals, with over 1,000 managed long term residential properties. CENTURY 21 Sweyer Rentals is a is a licensed North Carolina Real Estate Firm and is a member of the National Association of Residential Property Managers (NARPM).
In addition to the ownership and management of real estate professional services firms, Dave is actively involved in the development, management, and ownership of mulit-family apartment complexes, commercial real estate, and residential single family communities.
Dave is also a member of the Board of Directors of Easter Seals UCP North Carolina, and his businesses have raised over $250,000 for this charity over the last five years.
