A Dining Guide to Wilmington, NC and the surrounding areas
We’ve rounded up a few of our local favorite places to eat and also gathered some suggestions from our friends on Twitter. The restaurants in Wilmington and the surrounding areas in NC are truly one-of-a-kind. If you’re in the area, make sure you stop by to grab a bite and tell them Century 21 Sweyer & Associates sent you!
Breezeway Restaurant, Topsail Beach – Owned by our own Kathy Cherry, this restaurant serves up fabulous seafood at the beach.
Roberts Market, Wrightsville Beach – Owned by our own Susan Hoover-Powers, Roberts Market is the perfect place to pick up lunch on the way to the beach.
Milner’s Cafe, Wilmington – This cute little cafe serves up food in a big way. The menu consists of delicious salads, wraps and sandwiches, and they even serve breakfast from 7-11am. They also cater corporate and personal events.
Chris’ Cosmic Kitchen, Wilmington – This restaurant makes breakfast and lunch fun! Kids eat free on Tuesdays and Thursdays, and they have the best cheesecake in town hands-down.
Nikki’s Sushi, Wilmington – What started as a small location in downtown Wilmington has grown to 6 locations in North and South Carolina. Great sushi and hibachi (try the Spider Roll!). Don’t like sushi? Nikki’s also serves burgers and pitas.
Bento Box, Wilmington – Another great place for sushi. Great atmosphere, great rolls. Start off with the Thai Fried Rice – it’s delish!
Marcs on Market, Wilmington – Contempory cuisine done right. If you’re looking for a menu with a lot of variety, Marcs has it.
The Oceanic, Wrightsville Beach – The Oceanic serves lunch and dinner beachside and serves primarily seafood. It has been a staple in Wrightsville Beach for many years.
Port City Chophouse, Wilmington – One word: steak. You’ll never have a steak quite like this.
Hieronynmous Seafood, Wilmington – Another local favorite for good NC seafood.
La Costa, Wilmington – This mexican restaurant is great! Fun atmosphere, reasonable prices and good food.
El Cerro Grande, Wilmington – Another local favorite for mexican food.
Flaming Amys, Wilmington – You’ve never had a burrito until you’ve had a Flaming Amy’s burrito. The variations are endless – there’s something for everyone here. Stop by the salsa bar and try the Pineapple Jalapeno Salsa or Ginger Peach Salsa. You’ll be glad you did.
Circa 1922, Wilmington – Located in Historic Downtown Wilmington, Circa 1922 is the best place for tapas and wine.
Paddy’s Hollow, Wilmington – Casual underground dining in Historic Downtown Wilmington. Sandwiches and platters are served up for lunch and dinner. This is also a stop along the Haunted Pub Crawl.
La Gemma, Wilmington – When you’re ready for dessert, head over to this authentic Italian bakery. Tiramisu, anyone?
