Home Sales are Up for Three Consecutive Months

Century 21 Sweyer & Associates Sold Sign The National Association of REALTORS® announced yesterday that existing home sales are up for the third consecutive month. Regionally, existing home sales improved in the South by 4.0%, the highest increase second only to the West.

The stock market rallied yesterday based on this positive news and the Dow broke 9,000 for the first time in six months based in part on encouraging housing data.
