High Design, Low Cost
I’ve always been a pretty creative person but in these economic times, I especially love finding a project I can work on that is stylish, practical, and pocketbook-friendly. That’s why I love reading Craftynest. The Craftynest blog is full of home decor ideas that allow your creativity to soar, and most are low-cost.
One of my favorite projects are these swank Hemp Pendant Lamps.

Using hemp string, a bouncy ball, tacky glue, and a pendant light kit, you can make one of these lamps for a fraction of the cost of similar boutique lighting. I like the natural look of these lamps, but you could use white or colored string to match your current decor.
Find out how to make the Hemp Pendant Lights here.
(Here is a look at a few other projects from Craftynest. Seriously, if you haven’t seen this blog yet, you should have a look now!)
